How you will contribute:

This is a great opportunity to showcase your buying and negotiating skills. Responsibilities include purchasing materials, supplies, and parts. Expedites purchase orders, communicates shipping information, resolves invoice issues with vendors, and charges jobs accurately. Developing good relations with vendors and internal customers will enable you to sharpen your communication skills. Strive to become an instrumental team member by problem solving and identifying areas for improvement. You will be challenged to excel in a team-oriented environment.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will help make the most of your degree in business, purchasing, supply chain, or related field/program.  Three to five years of buying/pricing experience and purchasing certifications are preferred. Being proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), having some mechanical aptitude, and accurate data entry skills will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.  A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.  If you are ready to demonstrate this expertise, Ahern wants you!
