How you will contribute:

Under the guidance of a lead technician and superintendent, the Field Engineering Technician is responsible for the commissioning and start-up on new fire alarm and special hazards fire suppression systems while ensuring the work is performed in accordance with safety, design, budget and schedule parameters. You will demonstrate your top-notch customer service skills by interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis and leave them with the satisfaction of knowing they can count on Ahern for their future needs.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will make the most of two to five years of experience or equivalent experience, and your NICET certifications.  Must have excellent customer service skill. You can stand out above other candidates with a NICET level 2 in Fire alarm or Special Hazards. By demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment will .  A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cutting edge industry knowledge and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
